Team Work Accelerator

Increasingly teams are being put together and are required to function effectively from day one. This short high impact programme is designed to take a group of individuals and then form them into a functioning team.

This short but high impact programme quickly forms teams though practical activity, allowing teams to quickly progress through the stages away from the critical environment of the workplace.

Created for groups of people that have quickly been brought together and need to hit the ground running, for example project groups, new teams, start-up businesses. This programme would typically last between one and three days which could incorporate a residential option.

Normally this programme is very practical based, interlaced with management and leadership theory to add weight and instil understanding of the process of effective team work. Depending on the group we can add elements of leadership and a concept known as ‘followship'.

Depending on the delegates, we have a tremendous variety of facilities which we can use, such as our Activity Centre, Horticulture Centre, Equestrian Centre, Golf Course, Walled Gardens, or access to the Quantocks for walking or mountain biking. We also use a number of indoor activity areas. Alternatively this can be run at a suitable location chosen by you.

Activities are chosen to fit the needs and requirements of the groups, which means that we can cater for all groups and industries.

Costs start at only £130 (including lunch and materials).

Future Leaders Development Programme

Having identified the future leaders of your business we can deliver in a practical environment the necessary skills and competencies that are required to make the transition from valued and capable team member to inspirational leader.

The Future Leaders Development Programme blends management and leadership theory with practical activity. Over the course of the programme candidates will learn the most up-to-date management and leadership techniques and then be given the opportunity to put this into practice at our Activity Centre or suitable location of your choice. Our approach allows delegates to gain confidence and empowerment by successfully using their new skills away from the workplace. Once comfortable with the techniques, staff return to work far more adept in the skill of good management and leadership.

Created for competent front- line staff and first line managers, delegates should have been identified as having the potential to progress through the organisation.

No formal qualifications are required. Having completed the programme delegates may decide to go on to take a traditional management qualification.

Effective recruitment is vital to ensuring that the right candidate gets the job. Given that you only get to see a snap shot of your new employee are you sure that have chosen the right one?

We have created a programme which we can bring to you and implement as part of your recruitment process. We can run a number of short activities for your candidates which are tailored to your business - giving your interviewers the opportunity to witness behaviours and traits that candidates will naturally use during a task. Having the opportunity to evaluate candidates in this way is very difficult to recreate using traditional questioning techniques.

This programme would be suitable for any business looking to recruit senior staff/managers or a business looking to recruit a number of staff to join or make up a team. In partnership with the Team Work Accelerator Programme these two options would be an excellent way of firstly recruiting a number of new staff and then quickly forming those staff into a team.
